In founding Walbridge Construction, it was my dream to build an environment that fosters and rewards everyone’s achievements and pride in all aspects of the company’s efforts. I felt that if the company could focus its attention on creating a unique bond with every employee-owner, they would create a positive client relationship based on our core values at every level in the company. I’m very proud of what we have accomplished together and I am excited to see what’s next.

Our Mission & Purpose
Since our founding, Walbridge Construction has grown immensely while maintaining the focus on our people that Mike Clune initiated. As we continue to evolve, we know that our strengths are rooted in our shared fate. Increasing goals, expanding footprint and working in new markets all require people across our organization to think, act and grow collaboratively toward the same purpose. These efforts can only succeed in an environment of trust, where safety, service, teamwork, respect, excellence, leadership, and innovation are the core values. My job as CEO is to create the conditions where these principles are at the forefront of what we do every day so that we are all in pursuit of a perfect project for our clients and team members.

At Walbridge Construction, safety is more than a priority – it’s a core value ingrained in every step of our process. Our dedicated Safety Team develops project-specific safety plans from the very first kickoff meeting, addressing potential issues long before work begins. We take every measure to ensure that everyone on-site returns home safely, reflecting our unwavering commitment to excellence and care.
SERVICE
Giving Back
At Walbridge Construction, we foster a culture that promotes giving back to the communities where we live and work. In addition to the contributions made to causes by the company, a large percentage of our employees are actively involved in a variety of charities nationwide.
Each year, Walbridge Construction donates a portion of our profits to more than 100 charitable organizations and in 2023 to further our charitable efforts we established the Clune Cares Foundation, a 501 c(3) nonprofit organization.

Sharing appreciation and recognition for our staff emboldens employees at all levels to bring new, creative ideas to the table that provide positive social value. Our internal teams continually look for ways to improve our environmental impact, ethical approach and personal relationships.
Environment: Recognizing the urgency of environmental sustainability, Walbridge Construction is committed to making choices that reduce our impact, both on jobsites and in our offices, and has assessed our Scope 1-3 impacts with a view to developing SBTis be the end of 2025. Our structured approach emphasizes commitment, operational support, communication, evaluation and continuous improvement. Through collaboration with third-party experts, we are working to monitor and elevate our environmental performance across all aspects of our business.
